Greg Mazur
Mr. Mazur is a seasoned operating executive and investor with over 25 years of experience in start-ups, mergers & acquisitions and restructurings across a variety of industries. Recently, Mr. Mazur was the President/CEO of a private equity-backed oil & gas pipeline services company serving a blue chip customer base in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. Prior to his current position, Greg held several ownership positions in various entrepreneurial ventures, including:
Founded a tech-enabled start-up that developed, manufactured and marketed a patented, first-of-its-kind, bulk dry food vending system. The company developed unique new product offerings for Green Mountain Coffee and Petsmart.
Acquired a marginally profitable New England-based pet food distributor and transformed the business from a low margin distributor of inexpensive pet foods to one of the largest and most profitable pet specialty distributors on the east coast. The business was sold to a strategic buyer.
Restructured an $80 million technology provider. After chasing a potential IPO during the dot.com era, the company quickly became insolvent. The deeply indebted business was successfully reorganized and sold to a strategic buyer.
Co-Founded an Arizona-based, pre-hung door manufacturer and window distributor. After growing the business into one of the largest contractor-direct suppliers in the state, the business was sold to a $1.5 billion publicly-traded, home improvement chain as a key part of their new strategic plan.
Mr. Mazur has served on several boards including International Absorption Corp, Gullett & Associates, Inc. and Si-Cal, Inc. He received his BSBA from Georgetown University and his MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is a regular guest lecturer at the Harvard Business School on the popular topic of Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition.
